FORMALITIES TO ENTER IN ANDAMAN:-

Foreigners :- All foreign nationals will stay in the islands for thirty days. This can be extended by another fifteen days with permission. They need a allow staying from the immigration authorities. In addition, permits may also be obtained from Indian Missions Overseas, Foreigner’s Registration Offices at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and also the immigration authorities at the airports at Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, and Chennai.

Indians:- Indian nationals need no permit to visit Andamans. However, permits are needed to go to the Nicobar Islands and alternative tribal areas, that are given in exceptional cases. An application on a prescribed form is also addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Andaman District, Port Blair.
